Precedido por una intensa actividad sísmica, el volcán Etna, en la isla italiana de Sicilia, entró hoy en erupción, informó el Instituto Nacional de Geofísica y Vulcanología (INGV).

Desde las 08:50 horas locales (06:50 GMT) de este lunes inició una actividad telúrica, con más de 130 temblores, los mayores de los cuales alcanzaron 4.0 grados de Magnitud de Momento Sísmico (MI).
