VANCOUVER,abercrombie and fitch paris, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chief director for the opening ceremony of Vancouver Winter Olympics refused to call it disappointment after some mechanical problems of the cauldron almost ruined a perfect night on Friday.
David Atkins, executive producer and artistic director,abercrombie and fitch, said one of the arms of the cauldron failed to play and it's not yet known what went wrong.
"Fortunately the cauldron functions with three arms,doudoune moncler," he said.
As Atkins and his team originally planned, the four arms of the cauldron should have emerged from the field of play and folked up like bonfire.
One of the arm,moncler, however,abercrombie, failed to work and the lighting-up process had to be changed on the spot.
"The team did an extraordinery job in the end, replanning and replacing the cauldron and still with the central burnt and everything,coach outlet," said Atkins, who also designed the opening ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympic Games and the Doha Asian Games in 2006.
