SAN FRANCISCO
, May 12 (UPI) -- Marlon Byrd delivered a bases-loaded triple and Pat Burrell had three hits as the Philadelphia Phillies rolled to a 10-4 victory over the San Francisco Giants.
Burrell went 3-for-5 with an RBI single in the eighth as the Phillies had at least one hit from each starter. Jim Thome
, Jimmy Rollins and Chase Utley each added two hits for the Phillies
, who have won four straight games for the second time this season.
Kevin Millwood (4-2) benefited from the offense support and limited the Giants to three runs and six hits in 6 2/3 innings. He walked three and struck out four.
It was Millwood's first appearance against the Giants since he no-hit them on April 27
, 2003 at Veterans Stadium. Pedro Feliz hit a solo homer for the Giants
, who lost for the fifth time in their last seven games.
The Giants also got some bad news with one out in the fourth when starter Jerome Williams (3-2) left with a strained right biceps. He surrendered three runs and five hits before departing.
