Mulberry tasker, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- A strict interpretation of the Canadian province of Ontario's carpooling legislation has dealt a blow to parents shuttling others' children to sports events.
The Ontario Highway Transportation Board ruling was in response to a complaint by a bus line against the PickupPal.ca Web site that arranges carpools of all types, the Canwest News Service reported.
The bus line said the service was competing with them but didn't have to follow vehicle maintenance or insurance regulations.
The board agreed
