Who says former NFL defensive backs can’t play fantasy football?,Raiders Jersey
While NFL Network’s Rod Woodson is mired at .500 in the NFL.com Fantasy Magazine league, former 49er Merton Hanks is kicking butt in his fantasy league. Hanks currently works at NFL headquarters in New York in the Player Operations department — but he makes no bones about the fact that he might rather be working in the Digital Media department.
As an NFL.com Fantasy writer.
Hanks said he was half-joking the first time he asked us if he could write for NFL.com,Wholesale Jerseys, but it might not be a bad idea.
We caught up with Hanks this afternoon and learned that his fantasy team,Brandon Marshall Jersey, “Made You Look,Leigh Bodden Jersey,” is currently in second place. More impressive,Julian Edelman Jersey, it turns out Hanks is one of the few people in all of fantasy land who was prescient enough to actually draft Broncos rookie WR Eddie Royal.
But wait,Lions Jersey|Detroit Lions Jersey, there’s more. Royal was part of a receivers-heavy draft for Hanks,Andre Tippett Jersey, so when the guy who had the first overall pick in his draft started to panic that LaDainian Tomlinson might not round into shape,Cheap Jerseys, Hanks acquired LT in exchange for Royal and Packers RB Ryan Grant. Even if LT doesn’t return to all-world form,Arthur Moats Jersey, that’s a shrewd move.
Moral of the story: When it comes to fantasy,Reggie Bush Jersey, don’t mess with Merton.
