A head-on clash between two welterweights has been added to the main card of MFC 34: Total Recall. New York Jets Jerseys . Top prospect Dhiego "Maluco" Lima (6-2) will battle newly signed Nick "The Juggernaut" Hinchliffe (19-8) in a matchup that could potentially set up the next leading contender to challenge reigning MFC welterweight champ Nathan "Soul Force" Coy. The Lima-Hinchliffe tilt will take place from the Mayfield Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, on Friday, August 10. A native of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Hinchliffe, who signed a multi-fight deal with the Maximum Fighting Championship, has won four of his last six bouts including victories over Bastien Huveneers, Ryan Machan, and Mike Hackert. Amongst his most notable career wins are verdicts over Anderson Goncalves, Travis Galbraith, and Craig Brown. Hinchliffe began his career in 2006 with a nine-fight winning streak, and has chalked up seven wins via knockout and seven by submission. Of his 19 wins, 11 have come inside the opening round. Lima, who fights out of Atlanta, Georgia, opened his MFC run with three convincing victories including a pair of knockouts coming over Bill Fraser (MFC 27) and Jamie Toney (MFC 30). The Brazilian-born Lima also registered a third-round submission win over Josh Taveirne at MFC 29. The Gators have committed US$3.05 million to Muschamps nine-man coaching staff in 2011, according to contracts released Friday. Offensive co-ordinator Charlie Weis signed a three-year deal worth $2.465 million. He will earn $765,000 in 2011, then $850,000 the next two years. Defensive co-ordinator Dan Quinn signed a two-year deal worth $1 million. He will get $490,000 in 2011, then $510,000 the following year. Muschamp agreed to a five-year deal worth $13.5 million, or $2.7 million annually. He assembled a staff with lots of NFL experience. He also paid them accordingly. The staff will make about $300,000 more than last years assistants. Nonetheless, the Gators are actually saving money since former coach Urban Meyer was making $4 million annually. Aside from Muschamps two co-ordinators, assistant salaries range from $190,000 to $290,000, based on experience. Tight ends coach Derek Lewis, defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson and receivers coach/recruiting co-ordinator Aubrey Hill all signed one-year deals. Lewis wiill earn $190,000. He jumped at a chance to return to Florida and the Southeastern Conference, even though it meant leaving his head coach-in-waiting spot at Texas. A defensive guru whose units were among the best in the nation during his time at LSU and Auburn, Muschamp surrounded himself with experienced assistants, some guys with NFL ties and others with working knowledge about Floridas traditions and ways.
