Study shows iPhone 5c outsells Galaxy S5 in that market
How many times have we read that the iPhone 5c has been a failure for Apple because they had not met sales expectations that were set? While it is true that in some markets has had the great reception that Cupertino had expected also noteworthy that in other markets has surpassed sales to other great smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S5(galaxy s4 cases).
This is the case of the smartphone market in the UK, where the iPhone 5c outsells the great flagship of the South Korean company, and it is not uncommon to come across someone using the mid-range version of the iPhone in the streets of this country.
The latest study published by Kantar Worldplanet, whom we mentioned recently when we mentioned that the iPhone 6 can Apple do to regain market also shows the numbers of iPhone sales 5c. In it we see how the proposed mid-range smartphone exceeds Apple's high-end Samsung sales in the UK, which is somewhat surprising considering that this study commented that a certain percentage of Apple users had switched to Samsung Galaxy S5.
Despite the success of the Galaxy S5, Apple smartphones gain in sales
The study by Kantar has as its theme the success of Galaxy S5(samsung galaxy note case) among Apple users, and that said some iOS users in Europe have decided to switch to Android with this smartphone. The figures say that in the 5 biggest markets in Europe 58% of the buyers of a Galaxy S5 were already owners of a Samsung device above, while 17% came from iOS.
To reach these conclusions have been taken into account in May, the first full month in which the solvent has been the S5 Galaxy since arriving in Europe. However, if we focus on UK see that the Samsung Galaxy S5 ranks third below the iPhone and iPhone 5s 5c on the sales list.
IOS users, most loyal in the U.S.
If you look at the U.S., the iPhone 5s(cheap iphone 5s cases) is the bestselling smatphone ahead of Galaxy S5. In this market, the iPhone followers are much more loyal to the company that European users, since only 8% gave the iPhone sideways to grab a Samsung Galaxy S5.
Finally, we must not forget to consider several factors: firstly that the European market is clearly dominated by Samsung, the Galaxy S5 was released on April 11 while the two iPhone models did in September last year and, moreover, that many dealers are bidding Galaxy before the iPhone.
