Sirmi: among the more and more tablet PC in the first quarter of the year

Sirmi has released the figures for the first quarter of 2013 to the specific area of ​​the PC Client. In the judgment of Sirmi consumers continue to prefer mobile devices: if in 2008 started the replacement notebooks with netbooks in 2010 began the rise of the tablet(Ainol Novo 10 HERO II), which are gone in a short time to supplant the netbook and, part of the notebook.

During the quarter, we observe not so much a reduction in expenditure, as the displacement of the budget towards more innovative products Notebooks decrease of -29.1% and -25.8% in sales in units sold(Ainol Novo 7). Apple and Samsung, in particular, are atop the standings with a total share of about 43% and a positive trend compared to the corresponding quarter of 2012. Samsung recorded in the quarter surge in sales of over 200% year on year. Here are HP, Acer and Asus, which together reach a market share of around 33%, but mark a declining trend compared to the first quarter of 2012.
