Samsung is making a lot of money with Android as no surprise - JIAYU G2. Their phones work very well in the market. However, despite this, the Koreans have their reasons to bet on other operating systems.
Today Samsung announced that this year will start selling the first Tizen-based devices. The date is flexible but the message is unequivocal: a new operating system comes to the market. The year starts strong, and remember that yesterday Ubuntu Mobile was presented.
Tizen, to make a short summary, is a part of operating system MeeGo and support from different companies such as Intel, Samsung or operators NTT DoCoMo and Vodafone. Is the reason this alliance? Do not rely on Google and Android - JIAYU G1 MTK6515.
Although things are going well for you Samsung with Android, they do not want to rely on it 100% and therefore have embarked on this adventure where they hope to open the market and offer an alternative to a saturated market by Google's operating system and iOS.
Another underlying reason is the alliance between Google and Motorola - JIAYU G3. At first it seemed that this acquisition would not cause much of a stir, since to date there have been specific devices. However, soon they will release a smartphone that aims to compete on an equal footing with the iPhone next to preferential treatment from Google.
This is not due to like in Samsung, which has seen in less than a year has lost its privileged position in Google when making phones Nexus. What remains to be seen is if Tizen will compete in the high or bet on a lower profile as Bada, Samsung another bet.
