Ping G15 Driver
Far from resting on their laurels Ping have managed to improve the new ping G15 driver with some excellent new developments. As big fans of the G10 version we couldn’t wait to see the Ping G15 driver on the range to see if the changes had had the desired affect and we weren’t disappointed. At address you can see the G15’s longer head design and it looks great with the new alignment aid first used in the Rapture wood and which thankfully replaces the moon graphic from previous G drivers. The feel and forgiveness of the Ping G15 driver is excellent and the club feels a little more alive and more explosive than the G10. Ping’s G10 driver is a worthy successor to the G10 and it has certainly raised the bar.
The Features of Ping G15 driver:
The Ping G15 driver is engineered for golfers seeking a maximum forgiveness driver that delivers distance and accuracy. Its 460cc titanium head in G15 Driver is longer front to back and features PING’s patented ultra thin crown technology. Weight savings from the thin crown are positioned as an external sole weight to optimize the center of gravity for higher trajectories and reduced spin of Ping G15 Driver.
A larger face of G15 Driver is designed to increase ball speed and provide consistency across the entire hitting surface. The new PING-designed TFC 129D high balance point shaft in Ping G15 Driver allows for a five gram increase in head mass (without increasing swingweight or overall weight) which results in higher ball speeds and an increased moment of inertia
