More and more Chinese manufacturers trying to have visibility in the West and not only on the domestic market, as well immense and with enormous potential. Among them is Pipo(PIPO S2), which recently we had proposed another Android tablet, always fitted with Rockchip RK3188 SoC, which is currently one of the most popular ever in the entry level because it is able to offer a great mix of performance and cost. Now Pipo back to the attention of the media and consumers with another tablet, the new Pipo M8pro, also based on the same Soc RockChip and characterized by some unusual choices.
The first aspect, although cheap, it looks nice, the lines are nice and current and the device is also quite compact and slim, measuring 240 x 172 x 10.8 mm. Also nice screen edge-to-edge, accentuating the feeling of not being in front of the device usually cheap and cheesy. Just the display is the first of unusual solutions have been mentioned previously, characterized as it is by a diagonal of 9.4 inches, very uncommon on the market, in which under 10 inches is easier to find clones of the Apple iPad screen from 9.7 inches(Cube U18GT). The multitouch panel to 10 points of contact is also IPS type and has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and should therefore provide a good overall quality.
Also notable is the supplied hardware, which includes the System on a Chip Rockchip RK3188, consisting of a 28 nm quad-core processor ARM Cortex A9 with a clock rate of 1.8 GHz and well-ARM Mali 400 graphics subsystem, which is also equipped with four cores with a clock rate of 533 MHz RAM type DDR3 533 MHz is equal to 2 GB, while the internal memory is 16 GB, which is further expandable through the use of microSD memory. The equipment is finally completed by a 5 megapixel rear camera, a 2 megapixel front webcam, the WiFi and Bluetooth modules (3G is optional via external USB dongle) and a 6500 mAh battery that should provide between 4 to 7 hours of battery life, depending on the way you use your tablet(ICOO D70Pro).
The operating system is Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and here we find the second feature, ie the launcher owner Pipo, completely revised from the previous edition and now much more intuitive, composed as it is by large colored tile, vaguely reminiscent of Windows 8. The shop offers the ChiniStore Pipo M8pro at a cost of € 194.90.
