Ozark Jackets Outlet Georgie

Heyy all! Ok so this is my first time posting a story! Yes, the chapters are not the longest but i hope that what they lack in length will be made up in the content. I have no idea where this will go but i have high hopes for it! Please Rate and Review! I wanna hear the good about it but especially what i need to improve on! Thanks! Hope you all like it :) (Oh and could anyone tell me how to go about getting this author's note section right? I'd appretiate it!)

Georgie woke up with a kink in her neck. She felt the rocking motion that usually was peaceful and soothing but at the moment just made her crankier; she had slept fitfully that night. There was a light tap on the door to her sleeping quarters.

"Go away!..." Georgie grumbled but the head of one of the sailors poked his unshaven face into the room.

"Miss Georgiana belstaff coats, the prince would like you on deck as soon as possible," he said, unfazed by her semi-rude request, "Oh, and I am sorry for coming in, the prince told me I could if I figured you were decent," he added when he saw her indifferent but somewhat shocked face.

"Ughh Ozark Jackets Outlet, fine. I'll be up when I'm ready," she responded a bit curtly. "And thank you," she managed before he completely shut her door, finally remembering she should show some manners.
Once the man had retreated down the passage way, she closed her eyes tightly, and slowly pulled off the covers, exposing her skin to the frigid air, the type of air that only comes from being out at sea. She sat up carefully so as not to hit her head on the top of the wooden bunk New Balance 580, as she had done so many times before, and rolled her head around, trying to loosen her sore neck muscles.

"An extra ten minutes would be so welcome right now!" she whispered quietly as she forced herself up and to walk across the room to her wardrobe, her thin white shift not doing much to protect her from the draft. At the moment Georgie would rather have worn her shirt and breeches but she figured she should wear a dress, since the prince had summoned her. He was still the prince no matter how close of friends they were.

Little smidges of stories that he had told her of his childhood popped into her mind suddenly. She shivered, not of the cold, but of how horrible those stories made her feel. She promptly shook it off, though, and continued to dress. She had prepared herself quickly, for having just woken up, and walked out the door in a beautiful silk green dress that fell in soft ruffles at her ankles and looked wonderfully like the sea they were sailing in. She strode down the walk ways and returned, politely every "G'mornin Miss Georgiana" she received from the men. By now she had gotten used to being the only female on board the ship.

When she poked her head through the little trap door leading to the deck, she saw Asher, the prince, and Jaspin, one of her dearest friends, leaning against the rail of the ship looking out over the rolling waves. Just as she fully emerged from underneath, both young men turned around and warmly greeted her.

"Are you alright Gen?" Jaspin said. He was the only one who called her "Gen". He had given her that name back when they were little, Georgie had no idea why he picked "Gen" but he did, "you look a bit pale. Should you see one of the healers?" he finished, an extra concern adding to the worry she had already noticed in his dark brown eyes.

"No, I'm fine. I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed that's all, nothing to worry about!" she added, trying to look happier than she felt.

"Well ok...if you're sure" a hesitant tone in his voice.

"I'm positive" she said convincingly enough to satisfy him. Really though, she did not feel completely well. She had a terrible headache and felt quite sick; of course she didn't mention this. "You both look quite dashing today!" she said with a sincere smile.

"Well thank you For Womens! Shall I tell you why I called for you now?" Asher said, his blue eyes filled with thought.

"Of course! Please do."

"It is good news, and bad news, I fear. The good news is we passed another ship heading west. But that's where the good ends. The bad is that there is battle breaking out straight ahead. They were fleeing it, and I wanted your opinion on the matter, as well as Jaspin here's. The battle is due east on a land I know nothing about. What do you say? Shall we go and check it out, or shall we skirt around it?"

Georgie stood for a moment in thought then said "I think, that if you feel we are good with rations and will be in good health, then we should attempt at seeing this battle with our own eyes. Pray tell, what are your opinions?"

"We both said we should check it out," Jaspin said with a grin, "I am glad we all agree, for I am ready for some action. I haven't fought in what seems like ages! It will be nice to see if after this time on the ship and only a little practice, if I still have a knack with my sword! Ha!"

Both men grinned.

"We are agreed then. We shall arrive by mid-day. Before then we must prepare and ready ourselves, and the crew." With that, the prince turned and shouted to all on board, in a magnificent voice, "Prepare like we go to battle! For we may indeed fight! Whether or not we actually shall has not officially been decided upon! We shall arrive at the scene when the sun is at its highest!"
