Until now, the old negative scan cameras with 35 mm film required a flatbed scanner equipped with the appropriate adapter or a specific device that no one who is not engaged in photography would be willing to buy.
Lomography, creator of the popular urban culture analog photographers has used Kickstarter to launch a new product halfway between analog and digital. This is a handheld scanner to digitize old 35mm negatives using the smartphone camera.
The device is quite rudimentary. This is a light box in which we inserted the film using a control wheel. At the top, a lens and an adapter lets you place the smartphone(jy g3) and go taking pictures of backlit negative.
Subsequently, an application for iOS and Android(JIAYU G1) can convert negatives standard photos or make short videos from 35 mm film. The quality is not bad to be something so simple. Lomography has already achieved its goal on Kickstarter and will start production in March. For the different forks Kickstarter funding, is likely to leave Lomoscanner priced at around $ 60.
