The sweet and sour chicken was excellent and the egg rolls to die for,56038-13-2, but,food oils, hands down,AK sugar, the worst part of the meal was the fortune cookie. Not only was my fortune some ancient quote, that didn't make any sense,56-45-1, but the fortune cookie tasted like the front bumper of my '82 Ford Ranger pickup, which is about rusted off.

Oh how I long for the days of this once longed for after meal treat. Not sure if it's the ecomony, but these fortune cookie makers sure have fell in love with cutting corners. Fortune cookies just don't seem to be as sweet as they used to, and there really isn't much crispyness to them either. Would it be too much to as for a little flavoring After reading the ingredients label on the back of wrapper it didn't tell me much. Other than: water,Glycine manufacturer, flour,E401, sugar and some weird oils and preservatives. One main ingredient that was missing off the label was "cardboard" because that is what the fortune cookie was made of and it should have been the first ingredient listed.

It's hard to ask whom to blame for this tragedy. The restaurant for providing such a disgrace or the maker itself. You do have to side with the restaurant owner,L-Arginine Base, after all they do get the short end of the stick with having to provide a freebie at the end of the meal. I guess they could charge extra for an edible fortune cookie. Say maybe an extra $010 or so. Heck I would pay it. Or do you side with the fortune cookie maker. After all competion has to be stiff and actual edible ingredients may be too expensive.
