July 4th Beauty Fun: Would You Wear American Flag Nails? Hair Streaks? Flag LIPS? The Fourth of July is only a few days away, and before you all scurry off for a fun-filled long weekend, I have to share a few of the wildly patriotic ideas that beauty companies have pitched us for the holiday. Which of these three bold beauty statements would you dare wear on July 4th (if any)? Matching his/hers flag bananas? Pretty definitely a Don't. But I needed a picture for this post. 1. Minx nail decals featuring an American flag French manicure 2. Streekers wash-out temporary hair streaks in red and blue 3. Violent Lips flag-patterned lip decals (yes, you read me right!) I'm all for doing something fun and festive with your hair, nails or makeup for July 4th, but those lips might actually be considered a form of desecrating the flag. Just kidding ... sort of. I'll have to ask my dad, a veteran, how he feels on the matter. I suspect he'll just be really confused and creeped out by the whole lip-decal concept (as am I).
