BANGKOK, April 24 (Xinhua) -- China's top political advisor Jia Qinglin met with President of Thailand's Privy Council Prem Tinasulanonda here on Monday.
Jia spoke highly of the great contribution made by Prem to the bilateral friendship, saying he is a sainted politician and a respectable old friend of the Chinese people.
The smooth development of the China-Thailand relations attributed to the great importance attached by state leaders of the two countries and the efforts they made, Jia said. He hailed the royal family and the Privy Council for their efforts to push forward bilateral friendship wholesale oakley sunglasses, saying their efforts provided important assurance for the long-term stable development of the China-Thailand relations.
He added that the Chinese side was ready to work with the Thai side to further promote the bilateral friendship so as to benefit the two peoples and contribute to the regional stability, development and prosperity.
Prem said Jia's visit brought the friendly sentiment from the Chinese people, which is believed to enhance the development of bilateral ties.
He also vowed to continue to play an active role for the development of China-Thailand relationship and the friendship between the two peoples.
Bangkok is the second stop of Jia's official good-will visit to Thailand slated from April 20 to 25. He will also visit Chiang Mai after stay in Bangkok.
