BEIJING, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Due to joint efforts from the governments of China and Brazil, relations between the two nations have developed rapidly in a comprehensive way foakleys commit sq, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said Thursday.
Premier Wen made the remarks when he met Marco Maia, President of Chamber of Deputies, National Congress of Brazil, in Beijing.
"The bilateral trade value of the two sides is expected to exceed 100 billion U.S. dollars this year, while the scale and level of pragmatic cooperation have made remarkable improvements," Wen said.
Wen said both China and Brazil have cooperated on major international and regional issues to uphold the interests of developing countries. The strategic importance and impact of the China-Brazil relationship on the world is on the rise day by day.
Wen expressed willingness to continue high-level exchanges and deepen politic and strategic mutual trust between China and Brazil.
He said the two sides should strengthen cooperation in manufacturing, infrastructure construction, energy and mining, finance, as well as high-technology.
Maia said Brazil and China have much common ground and share broad common interests, and strengthening cooperation will be conducive to promoting their respective development and making greater contributions to the world.
"The National Congress of Brazil is willing to further exchange views with the Chinese side, and deepen friendship and cooperation with China foakleys bottlecap, as well as make new progress on the strategic partnership," Maia said.
"The Chinese side supports the holding of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio +20) in Brazil, which could inject new energy in global sustainable development," Wen said.
A delegation from the Chamber of Deputies of Brazil, led by Marco Maia, arrived in China on June 2, and will pay an official good-will visit from June 2 to June 9 at the invitation of Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress.
