TEHRAN, March 31 (UPI) -- Iran's foreign ministry on Monday rejected as baseless comments by U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, which it termed flagrant interference in Iran's internal affairs

On Sunday, Powell accused Iran of supporting terrorism

Powell was apparently referring to such radical Palestinian groups as Hamas and Islamic Jihad, which as Iranian officials frequently claim, receive "only political support" from the Islamic republic.
