New rumors about the alleged anti-iPhone: Specifications are driven less than expected
Partial backtrack on Galaxy Alpha, the supposed iPhone killer that according to rumors a few days ago it would have next exit. What we learn from other sources (respondents from the site Sam Mobile and this time complete with photos), some of the details that emerged would be reviewed. But let's start from the acknowledgments: Alpha Galaxy actually exists and should arrive on the market in August.
It will not be an anti-iPhone, or at least not in the sense typically 'androidiano' of the term. It appears that Alpha will have fewer strokes technical specifications than the current standard-bearer Galaxy S5. In fact, the screen will not follow the logic of the race upwards, will have a 4.7-inch(cute phone cases) diagonal and a resolution identical to that of the Galaxy S III two years ago. Even from a business point of view, also, Alpha will be positioned as a weakened version of the flagship Korean.
Yet this smartphone might still have something to say to the opponent of Cupertino. First of all because the resolution of the display of Galaxy S III (1280 × 720 pixels) would be sufficient to exceed that of the current iPhone, the difference will make the quality of the two screens.
Second, because it seems that the fingerprint sensor will still be an integral part of the Alpha along with support for advanced LTE networks. Other technical details are unknown, but it seems to confirm the item most interesting leaked days ago, what would the future smartphone composed partially of metal. To be precise, Alpha will combine an aluminum frame with a faux leather back cover (the Galaxy S5 for instance).
The new Samsung could prove as an experiment, an attempt to focus on quality rather than quantity: from this point of view, it will be worth keeping an eye on.
