BEIJING, March 4 (Xinhua) -- China's national legislators gathered Sunday to elect a presidium and set the agenda for the legislature's annual session to open on Monday.

A 170-member presidium was elected to take charge of the procedures of the Fifth Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) Oakley Ducati Scalpel Sunglasses, which is scheduled to conclude on March 14.

Wang Zhaoguo was elected secretary-general of the session.

According to the agenda adopted at the preparatory meeting, the NPC deputies will deliberate the government work report, and examine and adopt the draft amendment to the Criminal Procedure Law, a draft decision on lawmaker election for the 12th NPC and draft methods for electing new NPC deputies from Hong Kong and Macao.

Other reports and motions to be heard and reviewed include:

-- the implementation of the plan for national economic and social development in 2011 and the plan for 2012;

-- the implementation of the 2011 central and local budgets and the central budget for 2012;

-- report on the work of the NPC Standing Committee;

-- report on the work of the Supreme People's Court;

-- report on the work of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

The presidium is composed of senior officials of the Communist Party of China (CPC), non-Communist parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, personages without party affiliation, deputies from government agencies and people's organizations, and leading members of all the 35 delegations to the NPC session cheap oakleys, including those from Hong Kong and Macao and the People's Liberation Army.

About 2,900 NPC deputies will attend the annual full session of the national legislature in Beijing.
