283 newly confirmed influenza AH1N1 cases reported in Asia-Pacific region
HONG KONG, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Two hundred and eighty-three newly confirmed influenza A/H1NI cases were reported in the Asia-Pacific region on Thursday, bringing the region's tally to more than 4,600. All of them are in stable condition and have been admitted to public hospitals for medical treatment. China's Ministry of Health said 33 new influenza A/H1NI cases were reported in seven provinces and municipalities in the country on Thursday. Shanghai confirmed nine cases; Guangdong, seven; Fujian, five; Beijing, four; Liaoning, two; Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Tianjin Ugg short, one each.
