TATEYAMA, Japan, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- A Japanese man convicted of killing four family members by starting a fire was sentenced to the death penalty Monday in Chiba District Court.

Uggs Ultra Short Bottes, had been found guilty of murder through willful negligence, reported the Mainichi Daily News.
"It was a horrible and brutal crime that claimed the lives of four people through indiscriminate arson in an urban area,
les ugg, occurring after the defendant had caused the death of one other person in the past," Judge Yasuyuki Tsuchiya said as he handed down the ruling.
Takao was convicted of setting a fire at the entrance of a house Dec. 18, 2003, killing 56-year-old Ryujiro Nezu, his 52-year-old wife Hatsue and their sons 27-year-old Eigo and 25-year-old Shogo.
The fire destroyed the home and six other buildings. Takao was also convicted of lighting four other fires that same day, as well as another fire in September that destroyed two structures.Topics related articles:
