Humphrey said there had been no reports of pre-hospital fatalities but could not give an assessment of the conditions of those hospitalized. He also could not say how many of the medical cases appeared to have been drug- and alcohol-related.
A spokeswoman at the nearby California Hospital Medical Center could not provide information about the conditions of patients transported from the rave.
Hundreds of police were on site for the event. Three people had been arrested on suspicion of using or selling Ecstasy as of 9 p.m. Friday

Raves were banned at the arena and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in June after the overdose death of 15-year-old Sasha Rodriguez. Coliseum commissioners voted to lift the ban in November.
