Dubai: A British businessman,moncler sito ufficiale, the only defendant acquitted in the Dh1.8 billion Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) graft case, left Dubai for London immediately after Wednesday's judgment,abercrombie, Gulf News learnt Thursday.
"Although he got acquitted,abercrombie and fitch, but the verdict has not become final. Prosecutors are currently considering the grounds to appeal the primary judgement. There is a huge possibility that prosecutors might appeal A.F.'s acquittal… and if that happens he should appear before the Appeal Court,moncler," said the source.
The charges against the defendants ranged from embezzling public funds,abercrombie france, aiding embezzlement,moncler, inflicting loss to the government and forgery.
The court convicted the six defendants of defrauding and embezzling Dh1.8 billion from DIB. They were fined Dh1.8 billion and ordered to repay that amount to DIB.
A senior prosecutor refused to comment over A.F.'s departure saying: "I prefer not to comment on this issue. What I can say is that he must show up before the Appeal Court in case the Public Prosecution appeals the judgment."

Possibility of appeal
"The 59-year-old British businessman,abercrombie, A.F., was released from Dubai Central Jail on Wednesday evening.He took a flight to London's Gatwick airport from Dubai International Airport at 2.06am on Thursday. He left Dubai in less than 24 hours after the Dubai Court of First Instance pronounced his innocence at 10.30am on Wednesday,louboutin," a law enforcement officer told Gulf News.

Naturalisation and residency records confirmed that A.F. left Dubai using his passport.
Presiding Judge Fahmi Mounir Fahmi acquitted A.F. and jailed six defendants — including two Britons, an American and a Turk, all businessmen, and two former DIB executives,abercrombie and fitch, both Pakistanis — to 10 years in jail followed by deportation.
