ISLAMABAD, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani president General Pervez Musharraf was briefed on Tuesday afternoon about the clash between Pakistani security forces and Lal Masjid religious students in Pakistani capital of Islamabad, and orders of operation are yet to be issued pending the approval of Musharraf, the private DAWN NEWS TV channel reported. According to DAWN NEWS Ugg short, a Ranger soldier was shot in the head and died after being transferred to the hospital while five other security personnel were injured. Sources testified that two seminary students were killed and at least 50 female Lal Masjid religious students suffered injuries and are currently receiving treatment in hospitals. The parents of some female students have reached the mosque. Several hundred security personnel were deployed by authorities around the mosque on June 27, a move reportedly to keep tabs on the activities of religious students. Vowing to enforce Shariat in the country, Lal Masjid managers and their religious students entered into a standoff with the authorities since months ago over a land dispute about a seminary affiliated with the mosque. Lal Masjid administrator and students have taken a series steps from occupying a government library ugg classic short, attacking some local women and music shops, and kidnapping policemen, since then, which were termed as unlawful by the government.
